    Getting into a new game series

    I've been playing EarthBound for the past few days, but I'm playing it on an emulator because the game is hard to find and if you do find it, it's very expensive. I already got one expensive old game last year (Panzer Dragoon Saga). My mom did order Mother 1+2 for GBA for me, though. EarthBound is Mother 2, and Mother 1 was originally planned to be released outside of Japan, but never was. Mother 3 was never planned to be released outside of Japan at all, I think.

    I probably would have gotten the game back in 1995 when EarthBound was first released, but I didn't even know what an RPG was. My first RPG was Super Mario RPG and I got that one just because it was a Mario game. I didn't understand what "RPG" meant until years later.

    I don't know why Nintendo doesn't release the whole series here. There's obviously a lot of fans of those games.
